LPC Courses For People Who Want Legal Careers

LPC courses are provided for students who are interested in becoming qualified solicitors in England and Wales. The classes are available at some institutions in Australia as well.

The classes can be taken at different locations and are often offered at various times, making it easier for students to study conveniently. Normally, students will be able to choose from morning or evening classes and between weekday and weekend sessions. Students can also opt to sign-up for a full-time or part-time program.

It is possible to join by mailing in an application to the correct place, or by applying for the program with an online application. There is generally a fee for the classes. In some cases, law companies will choose to pay for a portion or all of the tuition.

Students who were not trained in a legal education are still able to enroll in the LPC program. It is common to find students holding degrees in subjects other than law participating in these classes. Those who do not already hold a law degree must enroll in a prerequisite class in order to participate in LPC sessions.

The classes included in the course focus on teaching a variety of skills needed for the legal profession. The classes also cover a number of legal topics and different types of law. Those who take the course will have to pass exams in order to receive the diploma. Students are given three chances to pass the exams. If they do not pass the exams after three attempts, then they can fail the entire course.

Upon passing the LPC course, people are generally asked to do additional solicitor practice. Solicitor practice is usually the last step before becoming a qualified solicitor. A solicitor can participate in many kinds of law and speak for clients in a courtroom.
